meet kahlan moore. she’s seventeen and about as outgoing as they come. kay’s not afraid of putting herself out there and showing the world who she is and what she can do. she tries to be a friend to everyone, and it takes quite a lot to get on this girl’s bad side. kahlan’s all about just living in the moment and having a good time. she’ll try just about anything once. kahlan used to be a bit of a goody-two-shoes, but lately that’s all kind of started to change. she’s started doing things that she probably shouldn’t and she’s slowly losing her way. she’s experimented with drugs and alcohol a little bit and she’s a little too careless with her body these days. it hasn’t really changed her much, though. kahlan’s always been very friendly person, sometimes a little too friendly, and she’s still very much the same now. the only difference, perhaps, is that her perfect grades are starting to slip. she’s not been as focused on school as she probably should be. kahlan’s a very loyal girl, though, and you don’t want to mess around with the people she cares about. kahlan’s not above defending those that can’t defend themselves. if you mess with someone she cares about, she’ll try her hardest to take you down a notch. kahlan’s favorite past time is riding horses. her family owns a huge horse farm and she spends almost all of her free time in the stables. she’s very dedicated to them and works harder on her riding and training than she works on anything else. kahlan comes from a big family, and she’s the only girl, so she’s a lot tougher than she might look. coming from a family of eight, kay has learned to take care of herself and she can get just as rowdy as the rest of them. it’s not surprising that she also has a bit of a loving for the more masculine things in life, such as sports and getting into trouble. at the same time, though, she can be completely girly. it just depends on what kind of mood she happens to be with. one thing’s for sure, you never really know quite what to get with kahlan.
