min ho was a happy little boy, born to two loving, noble parents. he played with his puppy, made mud pies, and scraped his knees every other week.
except he hadn't known that until two months ago.
up to that point, he'd been told that a comfortable, strict couple had been his parents, that lee yoon jung was his best friend, and that all he'd have to worry about was becoming the best bodyguard he could be. he took his training extremely seriously and was happy protecting his greatest friend.
but now he hates his charge, convinced lee yoon jung knew about the hit that eliminated min ho's entire family and had purposely let him live a lie.
where he was once outgoing and cheeky, he's now sullen and moody, a permanent scowl etched onto his face and a chip on his shoulder. he'll find an equilibrium eventually, but he's still reeling from the realization that he had an entire family he'll never know. someone needs to smack some sense into him and tell him to stop living in a past he never had so that he can find some middle ground between his former self and the pissant he is today.
he protects lee yoon jung out of obligation - this was what he was raised to do; he doesn't really have any other options. besides, if the family that had raised him had done anything right, it was the strict sense of loyalty they'd instilled in min ho. despite his anger toward yoon jung, there's no way min ho could betray him. he'll just.... bitch about him behind his back and glare pointedly at the back of his head during meetings or whatever.
and get drunk with the other bodyguards whenever he has some time off, of course.
