it's the mess THAT FEELS SO RIGHT will didn't like the idea of sneaking around behind seth's back anymore than maggie did. he felt like the worst best friend ever for doing such a thing. he was there for seth all the time, but now he felt like he was pulling off the worst betrayal ever. what kind of guy went around with his best friend's sister and didn't even imply that he was doing it, or hint at it? will did, apparently. they'd have to sneak around for a bit longer, though. he didn't really want to inform seth of this relationship quite yet and he was sure that maggie didn't want to until her pageant days were over, or at least winding down. will would be able to wait until then. it wouldn't be too hard. until then, he'd just have to sneak around with maggie a bit more. it wasn't as though they weren't getting a thrill out of the secrecy anyway. even though he knew it was a really bad idea, will had been on his way home from a little shopping spree when he decided to stop by maggie and seth's place. he'd been on his way to the house when he saw that the barn was fully lit and the door was ajar. he couldn't resist. it was probably maggie. he approached the door and he soon realized that he was right. maggie was there, indeed. he adjusted his black leather jacket, his white graphic t-shirt underneath it being highlighted perfectly by the contrast. he slid into the barn and smirked. "i heard that if you talk to horses for long enough, you become a carrot worshiper," he teased as he approached her. this was probably a bad idea, but he doubted that they'd even get caught. seth usually didn't come to the barn, at least as far as will knew. he slid one of his hands around her waist, "but my sources could be wrong...wikipedia isn't always the best source for information."

it had been awhile since maggie had gotten the chance to just hang out with her beloved horse, scarlett. she was always busy doing this or that for has upcoming pageants. there was actually a lot of stuff to do before one, despite what people thought. dress fittings, make-up trials, tap dancing class, tanning bed appointments, and a hundred other things. maggie was always kept busy and she loved when she got to have a little bit of down time. scarlett was one of the best things in her life and she wished that she had more time to give to her. running the brush across scarlett’s back she was fully concentrated in the moment. before she knew it she was going to have to head back inside the house for dinner. maggie’s mom had their whole family on this crazy organic diet in order to “cleanse” them. maggie was sure it was just to eliminate junk food before the competition, but she never said anything. honestly, diets drove maggie crazy which caused her to hide all sorts of sugary treats in her room. she hated to watch her whole family enjoy a juicy burger while she picked at a salad.

hearing a familiar male voice maggie whipped around, nearly spooking her horse. ”will?” she said in a surprised tone. will was admittedly maggie’s secret boyfriend. secret because she really wasn’t supposed to date and will was seth’s best friend. ”you didn’t tell me that you were comin’.” she said wildly. she didn’t want seth to find them out and this was way too risky. seth was in the house and he could come out at anytime. rolling her eyes as she slipped his arm around her small waist she allowed herself to wrap her arms around his neck. ”you aren’t supposed to be here.” she said gently.

it's the mess THAT FEELS SO RIGHT will had started to realize some things lately. when he wasn't with maggie, he had other people around. these people were mostly his parents, if they could get out of work for a while, or his friends and other family members. one of the things he'd realized was that, when it came to it, he didn't have a whole lot of people in town that seemed to like him. while he had plenty of friends, it felt like most of the more popular kids in town didn't like him, which he found ironic. he assumed it was because he was rich, not to sound egotistical, but still. he knew that if he didn't have brand name clothes or have wealthier parents, more people would like him. it never used to bother him, but lately....it did. thank god for maggie, though. keeping their relationship a secret made him realize just how much she mattered. maybe, if he didn't have her, he wouldn't be so sane. he grinned as maggie turned around. he liked surprising her like this. though, most of his other surprises had taken place in the bed of his truck. he shrugged, "duh, of course, it's me. it was an...impromptu decision," will shrugged as she slipped her arms around him. he put his other arm around her and gave her a gentle squeeze. he nodded at her next comment, "i'm aware. but i was driving by on my way home and i couldn't resist." he grinned at her, "i saw the barn door open, actually. so i assumed you were out here. and tada." he glanced around the barn, then behind them at the door before stealing a quick peck from her lips. he pulled away fast, "if you really want me to leave, i will just get out of your hair right now though. but i did pick something up for you today..." he muttered. they hadn't agreed on him not getting her gifts. being well off, he had a bit of extra cash to throw around. and why not use it on his girlfriend, the town's beauty queen?

sighing, maggie could not help but roll her eyes. he knew the rules to their relationship and he was always pushing the boundaries. this was way too close to getting caught and he knew it. this was more for his safety thing anything. she didn't want seth to pound his face in or anything. "of course it was." she said sarcastically. she knew it was a slim chance that seth was going to pop his head into the old barn, but she still didn't like the idea. what if he say will's truck parked? he would assume something then. "fancy that, the barn being open and me being in there." she said teasingly. she didn't mind the visit too much, she was just paranoid more than anything. the kiss will had given to her was a short one, so she pouted out her lips for a brief second. "you picked something up for me?" she asked, her eyebrow raised. maggie knew that will had extra money to spend, but she was never comfortable with the idea of him spending it all on her. it was his parents money anyway. not his. "you're kidding, right?" she asked with a smile. she would, of course, accept any gifts he sent her way, but she wouldn't feel right about it.

it's the mess THAT FEELS SO RIGHT will frowned at the eye roll mag was giving him. sure, this was an awful idea, but how could he resist seeing her? he was starting to believe that he was truly, honestly in love with her. they'd never said it, but he wanted to show her. and if that meant being a little more bold to get her attention, to make her realize this was a game he was willing to give up and make a real relationship, then so be it. "come on, mag. don't be like that. you know you're happy to see me," will said softly, a smile coming to his face as he pushed a piece of her hair off of her pretty face. he didn't think that the chances of someone catching them were too high, despite being at her house. besides, it was a barn. there were tons of places for him to hide in case someone came outside. will's smile turned into a grin at her next sentence, "well yes. i thought it was quite a coincidence myself." he rubbed at the small of her back gently, barely touching her just in case he had to make a quick getaway. he nodded at her, despite the fact that gifts were out of their territory. he had just thought of doing it spur of the moment, much like the trip here. he would've waited to give it to her, but it was just in his truck. he could run and get it and be back quickly. his nod quickly turned into a shake of his head, "nope. i'm afraid i'm not, maggie. i'm sure you'll love it. it's something...wearable. for your pagaent." he smiled back at her, glad to see she was smiling now, too.

maggie knew that sneaking around wasn't the most honest thing to do. she just didn't know what else to do. it was not like she had time to date anyway. she just had so much to do for her upcoming pageant and keeping up with a boyfriend would be difficult. well, she was obviously already doing it, but her mom wasn't going to like it. she was supposed to just concentrate on what she was doing and not on boys. "did you happen to park your truck where people can't see it? or did you just use the drive way?" she asked. she knew that will could not have been that stupid, but she still had to ask. his truck was brand new and a good give away. no one in town had a car like his. not even her parents. feeling his hand on the small of her back she smiled and then moved her small hands under his shirt so she could massage his back. "something..for my.. pageant?" she asked. she had most of her outfits picked out already and it would be hard to incorporate something else into it. will didn't know that though. sighing, she placed a kiss on his neck and quietly said, "you didn't have to babe.."

it's the mess THAT FEELS SO RIGHT while sneaking around wasn't the worst thing, there was quite a rush that went along with it. he was reminded of tv shows and movies where characters did the things they did, sneaking around and texting little secret plans. it was all so perfect in his head, but he knew it couldn't last for too much longer. before long, they'd grow old of it. in fact, he almost already was. will wanted this to be open to the public, even if seth did rip him a new one. he shook his head, "nope. no one will see it, i'm sure. it's on the other side of the barn." in other words, the barn blocked the view of it. "but i can move it if that's not good?" he raised his brows at her slightly, unsure of if that was alright or not. he smiled as her hands met his back as well. he nuzzled her neck lightly. "mhmm." he muttered, kissing at her neck a few gentle times before he stood up-right. he grinned at the kiss he got in return on his own neck. he didn't think she'd really meant to, but he still enjoyed it when she did that kind of thing. he just loved her. and he didn't want to tell her, in case she didn't feel the same way, but he couldn't hide it for too much longer, he was afraid. "well, i know. but i just felt like i should." he shrugged, "it's silver so it'll go with just about anything."

when maggie and will decided to start hooking up she never thought she would feel like this. she missed him all the time when he was around. she loved the moments where she could sneak off and talk to him. she loved when seth brought him around the house and she got to see him for a few seconds. magnolia ritter was a girl in love. those were words that she had not exchanged with him yet, but the feeling was there. sometimes she wished that they were publicly dating. that would mean she could hold his hand and kiss him whenever she wanted to. "well, all right then. i guess you can stay then." she then laughed as he nuzzled her neck leaving little kisses on her neck. "stop." she said as she tried to contain her giggles. once he straightened up she smiled up at him and then gave him a quick kiss on his lips. "just about? well, okay." she then looked over at scarlett who had busied herself with her food. "is it in your truck?' she asked.

it's the mess THAT FEELS SO RIGHT there were millions of things that will loved about her. he could name things forever, if he had that long. he, unfortunately, was not a sparkly warewolf or a warm warewolf. he loved how passionate she was about pagaents and school. he loved how her hair was the perfect length for him to play with when they kissed and it fell into his face just the right way if she was on top of him. he loved the smile she had on her face when she was trying not to look at him in public, but failing miserably. he loved the way he made her feel, like he was on cloud nine, floating around in the middle of the sky, on an infinite high. there were at least a million more, but he didn't want to think of them too much. he just liked thinking of her, mostly. he smiled at her softly, "alright. good. i was hoping i'd get your seal of approval." he said, kissing her cheek lightly. he smiled as she kissed him. he looked over at the horse as she did. he hardly noticed she'd talked to him. his eyes darted back to her, "oh. yeah. it is." he nodded, pecking her nose lightly. he grinned, "do you want me to get it right now, or let you wait for a while?" he said, sliding his hand through her short blonde hair.

honestly, maggie was so glad that will had stopped by. she had been missing him the past few days and she just had no time to sneak out and be with him. he had taken the chance to see her and that was what mattered most to her. sure they could be caught together any second, but that was what made it so thrilling. she loved will, but she also loved the chase. nothing in her life was that exciting anymore. she did the same thing for years, but will brought that excitement and passion back into her life. she had honestly been sad for a long time. she hated how hard she had to work when she didn't even like pageants. she had gotten bored of them years ago and she was really only in it for her mom. if it hadn't been for her mother's enthusiasm she would have walked away a long time ago. "you always do." she said with a large grin on her face. will was one of the few things left in her life that could put a real smile on her face. maggie then broke away from his loving embrace and walked around the stall to pick up a few things. "no, we can go now, if you want. i was just about done here anyway." maggie then handed will a brush and said, "here pretty boy, hold this for me." she then picked up the left over grooming supplies and took the few steps to leave the stall.

it's the mess THAT FEELS SO RIGHT another good part of his relationship with maggie was how effortless it came to the both of them. all the little things just melted away. he didn't have any worries at all about senior year, or any of that crap. he just had a really great time with her and he wanted it to be that way all the time. he wanted to come over and hang out with seth, and talk with maggie too without it seeming weird. he hated how he couldn't do a single thing, though, without the fear of getting caught eating him up. he knew buying her the necklace was a bad idea, especially now, but he just wanted her to know how much he cared, even if he'd never said just how much that truly was. will just wanted them to be like a typical relationship. maybe one day they could have that, but for now they were in hiding. will grinned at her sentence. always? that was such a huge word, the kind of word he'd only used when he'd said i love you to his mom when he was little, or when he wanted to exaggerate. he'd never said it to a girl before. his lips rose into a huge smile, "always? that's putting a lot of pressure on me, y'know." he watched her as she let go of him. he let his hands hang at his sides as he watched her. "alright, if you're sure you want to be seen out in broad daylight with me," will teased, a smirk on his face though. he furrowed his brows as she handed him the brush. the smirk stayed in place at the word pretty boy. he kissed her cheek lightly and took the brush from her. he looked at the brush, admiring the bristles and a few long hairs caught in it. he pulled them out carefully and let them fall to the ground. "how long do i have to hold this for, exactly?" he asked, looking up at the petite girl in front of him.

if maggie had to describe her relationship with will, she would label it as nothing short of perfect. sneaking around was not ideal at all, but that could be fixed. one day at least. right now it may have not been in the cards. she could see herself with will for the long haul. she would not go as far to say she could see herself marrying him, but she felt like they could get pretty far. maggie then shrugged and said, ”i think you can handle it.” always was a pretty big word. maggie thought she could start to be a little bit more serious with will now. she may have not been ready to go public with it, but she did really like him. she was glad that will was willing to stay with her through all this crap. most guys would not put up with all of this. ”oh shut up.” she teased. they both knew that will’s truck was well hidden so there was no way they would be seen. ”no one can see your truck right?” she asked as she placed one hand on her hip. if someone happened to come out and see them maggie would just say that she saw will pulling up and went out to greet him. no big deal there. maggie then gathered up the last few supplies and headed out the stall door, motioning for will to follow her. once they were both out she dropped everything she was carrying into a plastic bucket and locked the stall’s door. ”just put it in there.” she said, with a chuckle. she was pretty sure that will had never done a chore in his life so it was funny to her to see him questioning the brush.

it's the mess THAT FEELS SO RIGHT will had gotten too used to sneaking around. honestly, it was to the point where he felt like it was normal. he was constantly thinking of how to sneak her out of her house or how to sneak out himself. the worst part was trying to think of how to keep from getting caught. so far they'd been doing so well. it was only a matter of time before the truth came out - willingly or unwillingly. "i'm not so sure. there may be a time when i don't get your approval. what'll happen then?" he asked, furrowing his brows slightly. he was honestly curious. would that mean they'd work through it, or would she just throw int he towel? the last thing he wanted was to mess this up. he knew that they could honestly last, if they were given a real chance. if other people didn't matter, this would work. hell, this could last for years and years, even. he licked his lips as she spoke to him. "you say 'shut up,' but you still want to know if my truck is visible. i see what you're doing, mag," he nodded, his eyes narrowing teasingly. "i don't get it, really. my truck is awesome. you'd be lucky to be seen with the two of us." he stated. though he was kidding, he did mean what he said. she was lucky to have him. it sounded cocky, but he knew that most guys would just see her for her pagaent crowns and sashes and her beautiful face. will had grown up to think that way, but he didn't believe in it much anymore. looking good was important, sure, but personality came in way above that. he followed the blonde and stopped a few feet behind her. he didn't want to get in her way. he crouched down and put in the the bucket, then smiled at her. "do you want to go to my truck now?" he smiled, "if you don't want to, i wouldn't mind a roll in the hay." his smile was a bit more devious as he raised his brows suggestively.

magnolia had it made with william. he put up with all of her crap and he still was with her at the end of the day. this was the kind of love that people wrote songs and cute stories about. it was ridiculous that they had to sneak around like they did, but it seemed like the best thing. if they were ever going to get any more serious than they already were then maggie was going to have to really think about coming clean. she had not expected to fall this hard for will. ”i really don’t think that will happen babe, but if it does, we’ll just..fix it i guess.” maggie had not put that much thought into the matter actually. she had just assumed that they would work things out. or try to at least. the only source of tension in their relationship so far was the fact that they were hiding. ”it’s a legitimate question.” she said with a toss of her short blonde hair. she then rolled her brown eyes and pretended not to hear his comment about him and his truck. that was such a boy thing to say. she couldn’t help but laugh when he suggested having sex in the barn though. ”uh, not in the hay.” she said with a shake of her head. she then looked over her shoulder and said, ”maybe in the tack room, there’s a cot in there.” maggie honestly loved being intimate with will.

it's the mess THAT FEELS SO RIGHT will had been tempted, on numerous occasions, to spill his guts and finally drop those three words that they both knew were coming. he felt as though it wasn't entirely right, though. he lived her and all, but...god, it felt so wrong under the circumstances. what kind of love was this if he couldn't give her a hug in public without getting weird looks, or hold her hand? he knew it was silly, but he wanted to wait. he wanted people to know he loved her when he said it. hell, he'd tell everyone and anyone about it once people knew. they'd grow sick of the words 'maggie' and 'love.' he smiled at her, "fix it? wow. you're so easy to get along with..." he muttered, giving her a small kiss on her cheek. that was one of the things he loved most about her. it wasn't difficult to get lost when he was with her. not literally lost, but to lose himself. he forgot about anything that was bothering him. she was just so easy to talk to and easy to get along with, he couldn't help himself. he nodded at her. "it is a legit question but i wouldn't be that stupid. just because i have money doesn't automatically make me stupid." he wagged his finger at her, "very stereotypical of you, mags." will loved to tease her like this. he gave her a look. why not in the hay? didn't people always talk about "rolling around in the hay" or something? ok, maybe that had something to do with an adele song. he wasn't sure. "oh really?" he smirked, "well, i think you and i may have to visit that tack room sometime....but anyway, my truck?" he raised a brow, looking in the direction of where it was parked.
