throw a dog a bone, i'll take it if i have to. go real fast like there's somewhere we can get to. what's the use of standing right there on the edge, if there ain't no where to fall? what's the use of hanging on tied to the phone if nobody might call? desperation, there's danger in frustration. complicated words slipping off of you tongue and ain't one of them the truth. i'm still desperate for you.
POST GOES HERE. "and this is some dialogue"

Helga was excited, flushed even with such joy and beauty of the moment that was about to pass. She had finally met the three wizards that she would be joining in the construction and eventual starting of Hogwarts. Before she had met them she had only corresponded with Rowena, having met her once before and had hit it off. Or perhaps she had just left quite the impression on Rowena. Helga was pure of heart, never one to assume the worst in anyone. She always was reaching out to people. So when Rowena had written to her about visiting her she had agreed. Rowena, of course, had left out that she wasn't the only one meeting her. Rowena was wise, brilliant even. She had let her gaze slip to Godric once or twice. The beauty of his bravery and honor. He spoke of great plans, his voice growing thick during topics that pleased him. And then their had been Salazar and try as she might she couldn't figure him out. It seemed however, that he had done the opposite of her. His calculated gaze had cut her deep. His words, carelessly spoken, never wavered from the truth.

Helga became rather poetic in the sunlight, she wove great stories and spoke of the beauty of the sun. There was so much in the world to be thankful for and she positively glowed with that recognition. She had made the feast with her advanced charms, wanting to please the others. It was once the initial meeting was over. She had bounced in step and rushed to the kitchens. She did not have that much time to speak with the others, not until the feast would be served. She had finished and had wove her wand around, the food floating around her as she entered the room once more. She had smiled as the food finally rested against the large, oak table in the room and she sad down, in between Rowena and Salazar. She looked around the table and finally opened her mouth, her voice the sound of angels. "We must eat before it gets cold, it wont bite." She said playfully as she first reached forward and plucked out a roll. She heard the chatter of the other three, but she fell inside her mind. Happy that the four of them got along, or seemed to and that the celebration of such a plan was underway.

She finally looked over to Salazar, a calculating look on his face. She was puzzled by him, by the way he seemed to hide things. Godric had been so obvious and clear with his passions. He spoke of bravery, unity, wisdom, loyalty. He didn't hide the look in his eye or the shuddering in his voice. Darling Rowena was so wise, she often spoke over Helga. Helga pretended not to be offended, she knew that Rowena was the stronger of the two. Helga was... Helga was softspoken, curious, loving. She didn't hold grudges against anyone, she instead formed a friendship. She fought fire with kindness instead of the vengeful fire. She didn't treat Godric or Salazar any differently than she would Rowena. She finally opened her lips. "How does your feast fare, Salazar?" She spoke softly, evenly.

just like an angel
Salazar wasn’t the kind of man that would charm the crowd like Godric would. Both of them couldn’t be any more different and yet they were still best friends. Godric was passionate, open, he liked to drink and actually get drunk, he was loud, brave, maybe not the brightest person he had ever met. He had that kind of impulsive courage that was as admirable as it was stupid and that had made Salazar have to intervene to save him with some sort of master plan. Because plans, secrets, silent stares were his things. He wasn’t charming like him, he wasn’t that kind of man, that attracted people but still, he had that effect on people. He wasn’t charming but he knew how to charm them. Using the words in his favour, making his way very slowly and yet always ended up having his way with things no matter what. Like a snake. Godric would often make fun of him because of how serious he was all the time, how he liked to watch everyone and everything, like a predator watching a potential pray, not to eat them, but always get something from them. That was the other point, he was never going to pretend he liked or that he could stand someone, instead he could break the spell very easily. It was only a matter of using the right words.

As he sat on the table, patiently waiting for that splendid feast Helga was supposed to be preparing-and mind you he didn’t doubt it would be as splendid as Rowena clamed it would be, in fact he had very high expectations and knew that lady Hufflepuff was going to meet them- as he listened to the conversation going on between his friend and Rowena, sometimes even nodding to what one of them would say, agreeing, occasionally giving them a small smile, showing that he felt comfortable with the situation. Often people would associate his behaviour, his silence, to him feeling uncomfortable when in fact it was quite the opposite. When he felt ill at ease, he found very hard to find the right words to say or he would try to fix the situation with some sort of apology and leave. This wasn’t the case. Salazar reached for his cup of wine, a wonderful golden cup with an emerald carved in the shape of a snake, and took a sip from the red wine, letting its smell fill his nostrils and enjoying the taste in his mouth. Helga did certainly know how to chose a good wine.

As soon as the food on the table he took his time to look over at everything before deciding what to eat. Everything looked equally delicious and appealing. He decided to copy Helga and serve the same things on his plate as she had done previously. Immediately, he started eating and even if he didn’t show it, he wasn’t surprised to know that Helga had reached his expectations by far, was content with everything. Food and good company was all he needed. Taking another sip from his cup of wine, he looked down at the blonde lady as she spoke. She seemed to be shy and yet determined. It confused him. It was easy to figure out what Rowena was thinking, what she would do, she was way too rational, but Helga was always so nice, gentle, smiling that every time she talked to him he was quite startled. Salazar just found her excitingly surprising and also very beautiful. Always a bright smile on her face and her sole presence seemed to light up a room. In that sense she reminded him of Godric, both charmed people with a single word. ”Very well, my lady. Let me congratulate you on this delicious feast. It has met every single expectation I had and let me say that I am very exigent when it comes to food.” He hoped she wouldn’t take his words as an offense when it was a compliment. He brought a piece of meat to his mouth and chewed it slowly, swallowing it before looking at her again. ”Delicious. May I ask you to join me for a walk after the feast?” He didn’t say what he wanted from her because he wasn’t quite sure of what he wanted to discuss yet. It was something he still to figure out. Salazar only wanted to figure her out. She was a fascinating witch indeed.

Helga hadn't always been so sweet, so happy. The village that she was raised in was quite destitute, lacking all of life pleasures that she now had. She had lived in the dirt and grime for years. She had done things at the age of eight that she would never tell another soul. She couldn't fault her homeland completely, it had made her who she was today. The strength to carry on when the odds were never in your favor. The way the dark wasteland could take all that hope and all those dreams and turn them to ash. Fear was a common emotion among the villagers. She was soft, she was kind. They often came to her for a certain kind of help. Help that a little girl and a strange, uncanny ability to make things happen. When she was fifteen she was accused of being a witch and was almost burned for the help she had given. A man, dirty and smelly, had stepped out of the mob and held his hand out for her and she had taken it. He had cut her from the stake in the ground and ushered her to safety, the murmurs of the townspeople slowly fading off until she fell into darkness. That had been a long time ago, though. And somethings, however empowering, were better left forgotten.

Her gaze shot over the others occasionally. They looked like they enjoyed everything. She knew that there was other things to do with magic, but this was the thing that she would think could ever really mean something. Hunger did strange things to people. Despair could make people do things that she had never thought possible. These were dark thoughts for a feast that brought them all together. She didn't give away that her head was full of these dreadful thoughts, ideas. He small smile, lips moving against her cheek as she chewed the delicious food that she had created. Her eyes flickered back over to the person she was most curious about. Salazar Slytherin. She knew that it was... sinful to look at him and assess his beauty. She could not help her mind, it seemed. His strong jawline, his unwavering gaze, the way his lips moved against each piece of food that he dropped between his lips. It was shattering her self-control. It was often that feelings of a intimate nature would come to her. Not like this, over an innocent feast. It appeared as if it was to be dark, sombering thoughts or shameful, curious thoughts about Salazar. She was not fated to have a relaxed dinner. She finally swallowed a bite of her food and chased it down with a chalice of wine.

She couldn't have helped herself when she had parted her lips and words had spilled from them. Her curiosity had gotten the better of her. She had wanted to hear his voice once more, the way that it fluttered through the air. It was... confusing to say the least. A smile graced her lips, as always. In truth, she hadn't really expected him to answer. His facial expression had gave her the impression that he was bored or irritated. Of course, she didn't know him. "Thank you very much, Salazar. Your company here is just as pleasing. I was concerned that I might make all the wrong things and just... disappoint, all of you." She says in that light, bubbly voice. A giggle slips forth and she smiles, quickly covering her lips with a hand with a twinkle in her eye. So foolish, her brothers would have said to her. She took small bites from a roll and then her eyes slowly fluttered back up to him. A walk... with her? She assumed that it was his attempt at being friendly and she immediately became guilty. Why hadn't she asked the same of him? She swallowed her bite and a smile moved up and over her lips before she nodded. "Yes, I do adore a long walk in the sun. Mother nature has blessed us this day. Tell me, Salazar, if it isn't too bold of me... How did they find you?" She asked, leaning in and whispering to him. There was certain things that she knew she had been sheltered from. The others felt the need to protect her and her innocent nature. She didn't need to hear them say it to know it.
