skin change in 15 min!!!

hi hi so mercy made us a super hot new skin for the summer!!! it's going up in about 15 minutes, give or take, so at :30. the board will be going offline. BUT YEAH GET PUMPED <3333

love the new skin! such pretty colors <3 but for some reason, in my inbox, the text from old messages don't show up in the quote boxes. like, i can't read them because they're the same color. i figured you guys should know <3

yesssss i kind of did that on purpose but was wondering if it was going to bother people.

just so you know the layout looks messed up in internet explorer on a PC working on Windows 7 Home Premium. I haven't checked it on my mac, but it only looks good in Firefox and even then some of the links are illegible :/ jsyk.

on a side note: the layout is absolutely horrendous in mobile format on my iphone, the stationary sidebar ends up covering things when i try to zoom and it just gets bunched together on the small screen. :/ next layout maybe avoid the stationary sidebar?

I agree with the iPhone bit ><  everything I do online is from my phone, and the stationary sidebar is a pain in the ass. Is there any way you guys could make the skin go behind the forum when someone zooms on, as opposed to keeping it in front?  Or maybe add the code so that it can be toggled?  Because its near impossible to do anything with the sidebar in the way ><

i added a toggle option; i'm not sure that will help because the sidebar position is fixed, but give it a try and let me know what happens.

with regards to it not looking good in ie, it concerns me that you're using ie. very much.

as always, cam and i love you and respect your opinions. the entire admin team does. but there are 1600+ people on the site now and we're not going to be able to please everyone.

our layouts stay up between one and two months, no longer. the next one to go up will be our one year celebration skin. i'll personally guarantee that layout doesn't have a stationary sidebar.

So I've been tooling around with the toggle on my phone, and was even able to use my grandmother's computer for a bit to troll around the site on a laptop.

The toggle is amazing, thank you so much <3 It really helps with reading things, since the sidebar isn't filling up the entire screen when I zoom in. So thank you!

But I did notice that the right hand side of the forum seems to be cut-off on my grandmother's laptop? It's ~technically a netbook, but in Google Chrome I can't even use the keys to shift the page to view things on the right hand side. So deleting/editing posts and all of that is a bit tricky.

But other than that, this skin is AMAZING. I love how the staff are using female faces from Buffy in the staff bit in the sidebar, and I absolutely adore the new membergroups <3 Buffy is one of my favourite shows 8D The layout is absolutely amazing, honestly c:

i still love the colors and the workings of the forum, looks amazing.
haha i just have a PC i use from time to time and i hate using Firefox on it because the default browser is a pain and it's not just mine so IE is really the only option...

but either way it looks stunning. i haven't checked it in google chrome--mainly because idek how to use google chrome. but i'm sure it's amazing there too.

I personally love it. I went on my phone while I was at work and I had no problem at all with it and I have a motorola click II.

a bit late on responding here but the skin is fabulous and because buffy is my all time favourite tv show i'm sitting here trying to post more just to become some of my favourite villains, it gives me some entertainment P

seriously, just discovered the toggle button and it's saving my life. ily<33
only complaint is that it's a bit irritating to have to reclick the toggle button everytime i refresh the page. i know that there's a code that allows the toggle to "remember" how the sidebar was the last time, but i don't know it! i think they use it on caution. xD

but i mean, that's a trivial complaint. it's just me being lazy. c:
